How World Ride is Supporting Women’s Mountain Biking in Ghana
World Ride is excited to continue to expand to new countries and begin to develop new programs. Earlier this year, we were contacted by Vida in Ghana about a program she has been working on to get more girls and women into mountain biking in Ghana. She has been putting on races in her hometown of Accra on a piece of land she has. We are working with her to develop a World Ride program there.
We wanted to support Vida in her endeavor and were able to allocate $500 of our yearly budget to help support her races. The first race had 32 girls participate!
