FAQs

World Ride currently has programs in Nepal, Guatemala, Peru, Botswana, Tanzania, and Lesotho, with three more in the works! We also have mountain biking tours in those countries.

There are many different ways to get involved with World Ride and support our mission of empowering women through mountain biking! You can donate, become a partner, host a movie night, apply to be an ambassador, and go on a mountain biking tour.

If you have a love for mountain biking and the World Ride mission, consider joining our ambassador program! Applications typically open in the fall.

For most of our trips, we limit the number of guests to 12, but our Botswana trip is an exception with a maximum of 10. We like to keep trips on the smaller side to maximize guest experience.

Most of our trips are double occupancy, meaning you will be sharing a room with another guest. If you are traveling with a partner or friend, please note that you would like to room with them on your booking forms. If you would like your own room for the trip, we can accommodate the request for an additional charge. Please get in touch to request single occupancy.

Most airlines will not allow you to travel with an e-bike, so this limits their use on trips. We do have some trips where there is an option to rent an e-bike in-country, including Guatemala and Nepal. Please reach out if you would like to rent an e-bike for the trip and we can help coordinate this.

The minimum age for our tours is 12 years of age, accompanied by an adult.
